What we check on every camera
- Shutter speeds across the range (slow, fast, B)
- Meter accuracy across light levels, where a meter is fitted
- Aperture blades — clean, dry, snapping correctly
- Focus and helicoid — smooth through the full range
- Film transport — wind, frame counter, rewind
- Lens glass under strong light — fungus, haze, scratches, separation
- Light seals — original, replaced, or flagged as needing replacement
