Light wear. Flawless in use.
A faint mark or slight chrome wear at most. Glass clean, seals good, shutter speeds and meter (if fitted) within tolerance.
Pricing Around market average.
Light–moderate wear. Fully working.
Visible but tidy wear — scuffs, light brassing, maybe worn covering. Glass clear of fungus and haze; any cleaning marks are noted. Mechanically sound.
Pricing Around to slightly below market.
Heavy wear. Every flaw disclosed.
Heavy cosmetic wear — brassing, dings, worn leatherette. May carry a disclosed fault: a sticky slow speed, weak meter, or a mark in the glass. Listed exactly as it is.
Pricing Entry-level for the model.
Looks and function are graded separately. A body can look worn but fire perfectly, or look clean and need a service. The listing states both; the overall grade reflects whichever matters more for that camera.
The camera matches the grade, notes, and photos in the listing. If it arrives materially different — a fault we missed, missing seals, a capping shutter — tell us within 72 hours of delivery and we’ll make it right. See our return policy.
These are used cameras, often decades old. Expect the wear we describe and the occasional service over time.
